History... BRADLEY KELLER'S racing career started when he got into the seat of his first go-kart at the early age of ten. Between 1998 and 2005 Brad took out 1st in many championships including two top 5 finishes at state titles. Brad took out 4 club championships in J100 and 3 club championships in senior KT classes. At thirteen, Brad began racing his first speedway car, a datsun 1200 coupe previously driven by 2005 sprint car rooke of the year Dylan Jenkin. After earning 3rd place at a state title in the junior sedan, Brad took a year off speedway to focus on go-karts and reconsider his future in speedway. In 2004/2005 Bradley embarked on a career in open wheel racing, graduating to compete in the V6 sprint class and with the support of his family, establishing their own racing team - Keller Racing. Keller Racing purchased the ex SA1 V6 sprint car, previously owned and driven by family friend, Dylan Jenkin. The 05/06 season saw Brad Keller enter the V6 ranks. The v6 sprints lead Brad's inspirations to follow Dylan Jenkin's footsteps to a drive in an openwheeler sprint car. The results speak for themselves. Since 2005 Bradley has featured in the top echelon of V6 sprint drivers in South Australia, winning the state title and state series in consecutive years setting many new lap records along the way. Testimony of his potential and ability he was invited by National Australian Speedway Racing to take part in a young drivers development course at the Australian Institute of Sport - the only South Australian driver selected. 2008 saw Keller Racing purchase a JEI chasis from Parr Motorsport and import an engine to be built by David Baines. After many hours of preparation in putting the car and transporter together saw us ready for action for the 08/09 season. Keller Racing competed in 15 races, during the season. Bradley winning several heat races, making it through to the A main event many times, and came within 0.04 seconds off the lap record in Adelaide. Recently he won the South Australian Rookie of the year for open 410 sprintcars. A successful first year in this ultra competitive class. "Going into the 410 class was really a challenge both on and off the track. On the track we are competing against the most experienced and competent drivers in Australia, while off the track the financial commitment required to compete, build and maintain the car can run into $100,000 – that's why support sponsorship is so important." "My goal is to 'live my dream' - competing against the best sprintcar Drivers throughout Australia and if the opportunity arises, race overseas." If ambition and determination are anything to go by, Brad is well on his way to realising his dream! 2009/2010 Keller Racing continues with the XXX chasis purchased from Dillon Motor Sport. We have had some reasonable racing with plenty more still to come.
